Miss Sue has extensive experience as an early childhood educator and has inspired many students to love learning throughout her career. Her energy and enthusiasm for teaching is much appreciated. She has 40 years of experience teaching preschool and kindergarten. Miss Sue holds a B.A. degree in Home Economics with an emphasis in Child Development. She has also performed graduate work in education at California State Polytechnic University.
Miss Annette, Educator
Miss Annette holds a B.A. in Education and an Associates degree in International Studies. She has 2 years of experience teaching K-5 science, PE, and music, as well as a year of professional experience teaching in preschool classrooms. Miss Annette has 2 children of her own, both of whom she home schooled during their elementary years. Miss Annette’s background also includes the study of the Japanese language and culinary classes in French cuisine.
Miss Diana, Educator
Miss Diana is a certified K-8 grade Teacher with Washington State and holds a BA degree in Society, Ethics & Human Behavior. She has 6 years of classroom experience working with young children as well as 9 years of experience teaching swimming to ages 6 months to adult through the YMCA. Miss Diana has two preschool age children of her own who attend the school as well.
Miss Diane, Educator
Miss Diane has been working with children in preschool and grade school settings for 24 years as a volunteer through her church, as a childcare provider and as a professional classroom aid, all in addition to raising 4 children of her own. She previously served as a ABA Therapist assistant for a child with autism, assisting him as a full time classroom aid from preschool through 3rd grade. She holds an Associates degree and has a life long interest in children and their education.
Miss Karen, Director & Educator
Miss Karen acts as a teacher/substitute as well as operating as the school Director. Along with her education credentials (BA in Art, ECE accredidation), Miss Karen has 11 years of experience as lead teacher for ages 2 1/2 to 5. She enjoys teaching and finds that her active participation as needed, keeps her in touch with parent and student needs within the classroom context.
