Our prekindergarten curriculum is fun, hands on, very active and designed for Kindergarten preparation for 4 to 5 year olds. Emphasis is placed on appropriate classroom behavior and participation in successfully following teacher guided instructions and activities. Children are gently conditioned to Kindergarten expectations over the course of the year in a developmentally appropriate manner. Our daily period of mock Kindergarten activity gives children practice in teacher-directed activities and in learning to self complete tasks. Academics are woven through out the curriculum. Students are evaluated in Fall and again in the Spring for Kindergarten readiness in academics, socialization and emotional development.
