Children May Stay for up to 4 Hours
Licensing requires that children only be allowed for up to 4 hours. There is a $25 fee if you exceed the 4 hour limit. This includes children enrolled in our regular preschool programs. If you child attends our regular preschool, their classroom hours must be included in the 4 hour daily limit.
Picking Up Your Child
If someone other than yourself will be picking up your child, they will need to be on your registration form as authorized to do so. Anyone picking up your child will need to show a picture ID before your child will be released. Teachers may ask for your picture ID as well unless they are familiar with you. There is a $1/minute charge for children picked up after 4:00pm.
Behavior & Discipline
Children are given the opportunity to express their feelings in appropriate ways and to solve their social problems constructively. Guidance techniques begin by acceptance of a child’s feelings and teaching them to express and verbalize them. Limits will be set on the forms that their behavior may take while the teachers act to guide the action as needed and follow through to a conclusion.
Under no circumstances will any form of corporeal punishment or use of humiliation be used as a disciplinary tactic. If we find that a child continues to have behavioral problems, or if their behavior is extreme, parents will be notified and will need to come and pick their child up immediately. We reserve the right to refuse service in the event of behavior that compromises the safety and/or ability of other children enrolled to experience a comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere.

If you child becomes ill while they are with us, you will be contacted immediately and will need to be available to pick them up within 20 minutes. We will have a Teacher stay with your child in a secluded area until you can arrive.
